I would buy an '86-'87 in a heart beat if one came up for sale in my area. It would have to be in decent shape cosmetically though as I rebuilt a 2001 over the summer and that was hard enough to find parts for, especially plastics at reasonable prices. Matter of fact I bought a new gas tank and side fairings and have stopped looking for upper headlight fairings and decided to go with the street fighter look to save money and hair strands. The pre gens (86-07) look 100x better than any 08+.
I do like the 08+ 250's but if I could only choose one it would definitely be a pregen. I love this thread thanks for sharing the pics of those classic beauties!
