saturday san diego co ridesville , 6-4 -16
suppose to be warm, let's get an early start. Ksu ,7:00 at highland valley rd + pomerado rd, ( just east of I 15). hi land valley rd to dye rd, yada yada , to old Julian, 78 east ,wynola rd, 78 east (banner grade) , u turn east of the banner Queen, west 78 to Julian gas station, splash n go. Route can vary here, 79 south to old 80 to japatul rd, lyons valley rd, u turn just east of the school, lyons val back to honey springs, east on 94, u turn at tierra del sol, west 94 to subway + Sinclair. fuel and calories. Buckman springs , old 80 to sunrise, to 79. Route can vary here. at Julian 78 east u turn east of banner queen, west 78 to wynola rd, to fuel at santa Ysabel. mesa grande, 76, s7, s6, 76, couser canyon , lilac, west lilac, camino del rey to 395. then ,, home. not a fast pace ,just a steady pace . depending on route could be aboot 350 miles. Hopefully all the cars will be parked this weekend!

light traffic with the early start, roads clean, every Polaris slingshot from san diego and orange counties were filling up at Cameron corners. they were smiling. I was out voted for a banner grade lap on return to Julian , something aboot the heat. palomar was, , , palomar. need more 250/ 323 cc bikes , ok next week end

i'm not talented enough to take pics. no promises. motofoto has a few pics and a section on "slingshot", and he has a better eye than I do.
