SOLD: Scala Rider Q2, $75 shipped
SOLD
I upgraded to the G4, so I have a Q2 available. What you will get is - the Q2 intercom unit - the clamp mount with the boom mic, and speakers - the adhesive mount which I never used, but one of my friends does use, and it has held up for over a year so far - velcro pads for attaching the speaker to a helmet shell (I just velcroed mine directly to the liner, so I didn't use them.) - wall charger - the Aux/MP3 connection cable - carrying pouch for the intercom unit - hex wrench for tightening the clamp - extra mic sock for use with open face helmets I think that is all. I bought the intercom as a multiset, which is two intercoms and two of all the accessories. You will get half of that, or the same as buying an individual unit. You can read the manual and about all the features here. It worked great for me, I just wanted to upgrade to be able to talk to more than one person at a time in full duplex. (Two of my friends that I ride with have the Q2, and witht one G4 we can do that.) This unit can do full duplex with one other rider, and you can connect to two others at once (but only talk to one at a time). All the features might seem confusing at first but after a little setup it is really easy to use. I have used it with my phone, and had a GPS/ipod plugged in with the MP3 cable. It also has a built in FM radio which worked great for my commute, or if your GPS/mp3 has an fm modulator built in you can get rid of the MP3 cable and be truly wireless. The unit is about 2 years old. The battery still holds a charge and lasts for a very long time. I could normally get between 8-10 hours of continuous use (GPS/mp3 playing, paired to my phone, and another intercom) out of a charge. Given how much I used it on a daily basis I didn't charge more than once a month. There is a small crack in the rubber coating in the unit (will attach pictures tonight), but all 6 of the units that my friends or family have, are the exact same way. This in no way affected the use of the unit, but I wanted to disclose everything. I am asking $75 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Here is everything that comes with it.
Here is the crack in the rubber coating that I was talking about. It is in the center of the picture. It is actually much smaller than what I have seen on the other units. |
