ISLE of Man TT racer Guy Martin will soon be back on our screens with two new TV shows lined up.

The first series, which will air in October on Channel 4, will follow a two-year restoration project of a Spitfire plane. This will be followed by season two of Speed, due to air over winter.

Season one saw Guy pedal a custom bike over 100mph, set the record for the world’s fastest gravity powered sled, attempt to pilot the fastest ever human powered aircraft and attempt to set the world record for riding a motorcycle on the surface of water.

In the meantime, Channel 4 will be uploading ‘Guy Martin’s Passion for life’ to watch online. The internet-based series will feature numerous seven-minute-long videos on ‘Guy Martin’s complex character, revealing his candid thoughts on the dangers of the Isle of Man TT, and featuring exclusive access to his normally off-limits private life.’
