Cheap replacement clip-ons review

I bought my bike with some damage and had two bend handlebars so I bought some replacement clip-ons for my ninja 7 days ago on ebay.

They cost around $65 AUD and arrived today. These one's bolt up to the same holes the original clip-ons mount to so it's a very clean look. Quality looks quite good there were no rough edges anywhere. Fitting them also went smoothly without issues, all the bolts went up to tension without stripping.

Only negative is that there isn't much clearance with my levers so I can't have my levers as low as I would like. Which also meant I wasn't able to have the bars as short as I'd like for filtering, if you don't mind having the levers up fairly high then you could go quite narrow.

They're called "CNC Handle Bar Clip On Kawasaki EX250/Ninja 250R 2008-2012 Black" by a eBay seller/member named Goto9Goto9

Looks sweet. Always good to find quality on eBay.

They're called Goto9Goto9 I had it in the post but Iv made it a bit clearer.

They also had solo seats for 30, bubble windshields for 15, rearsets 250. The rearsets actually look pretty rad.

Quick question: how do you go about squaring up your handle bars after installing clip ons? I put wood craft clip ons on about 4 months ago. Seems fine, but I want to confirm that I have them straight as possible. Haven't seen anything on this yet.

~Thanks

Luke... trust your feelings.

Anything amiss should be obvious to you while you're riding. Your hands will feel like they're in the wrong place.

If you want to get all OCD, then put the bike on a stand, and run a string from the ends of both clip-ons to the center of the tail... use the angle in the middle of the tail light for reference. When the bars are positioned so that both strings are the exact same length, you're there.

This of course assumes that both bars are the same length and the bike hasn't been tweaked (crashed).

I'll check this out. Feel wise, think its ok. But at highway speed, when tucked, like maneuvering around a semi, i can feel a slight oscillation in the bars. When tucked, and dropping my elbows to my knees, left doesn't touch, right does.

What would you call them? They're closer to clip-ons than handlebars.
