Quicky about 15t sprocket

I got the sprocket from JT (516.15) it has a flat side, and a side with the item number + a "built in washer" Which site should should i could see with my eyes when i mount it? (i guess its the flat site?)

Flat side.
What year is your bike? My 15t front sprocket had a different number: JTF1539.15, mine's a newgen.

new gen too, bought it from ebay as new gen, and yea i know it is for the old gen. But only ˝mm thicker, and shouldn't do any damage to the bike says multiple topics in here ^^ thanks!

would it not just be easier and safer to pay the 10$ for a JT sprocket with the correct size?

meh then it should be the shim that would make it fit like the JTF1539.15, but cant find any :/

Flat side towards you, "washer" side towards crankshaft.

Same here.. its because of a DIY that suggest it. anyway need to find those shims so it fits perfect!
