Clutch cable
Hi all,
Clutch cable snapped yesterday. Luckily I was close to home and had practiced shifting up/down without clutch before. Does anyone know the part # for the clutch cable? I've ordered one off ebay but the part number is useful, as I plan to get a spare cable. Has anyone else had their clutch cable snap on the 250R? |

http://www.ronayersmotorcycles.com/f...010&fveh=38177 It is very common, but good lubrication of the head-lever is key to a long life of service.

I'll take a photo, but the cable appears to have frayed and snapped just after the knobby bit on the clutch lever end. So it appears there was abrasion against it |

It quickly breaks if it is forced to bend during each input, due to lack of lubrication in the knob that should rotate respect to the lever. You are welcome.

Actually it doesn't appear that there was any abrasion against the cable where it snapped |
