I can testify to this! After 11 years of marriage with 2 kids, I finally figured this out! It took two break-ups with a near-divorce outcome to finally go to a marriage counselor that helped us BOTH realize this fact. But we were both nuts when we argued, lol. After a few months and tons of make-up sex, (hubba hubba) we finally started to get along and quit crucifying each other.
