3 points but my boots are 30 years old.

I rode today with shorts, t-shirt, sunglasses (a must), sneakers and gym gloves. I was going to the gym.

I'm just hoping I make it alive, until I die.

I can always borrow my kids stuff when I need it.

Go into a shop, get your head measured & try on every brand they have, then go to another shop and try on any brands you didn't see before. I tried on almost every brand in 4 shops before I bought my first lid, and I was sure it fit.

Shoei fit some people, arai fit others, AGV, HJC, Caberg, Schuberth... may all have different fits.
Shark fits me, Arai doesn't.

A good fit in a 'worse' brand beats a badly fitting shoei/arai any day

I am wearing a small shoei, but my head measures like a little more than 58.5cm which is between the medium and large sizes. Shoei's shape seems fine since I feel even pressure around my head (albeit its now a little to much and my face is so close to the chin bar I'm almost always kissing it lol).I got it when I had little hair, now its grown quite a bit.

I know HJC's definitely don't fit me puts a crap ton of pressure on my forehead so it must be a really round shaped helmet. Scorpions fit pretty good might try those out as well.

I'll be going to shop next weekend, going to try the bell star, a larger shoei, and possibly AGV or Scorpion. It'll be my little birthday present to myself haha

27 ... but I kinda cheated by giving myself extra points for owning a Cortech motorcycle backpack and a hydration bladder . With our humid summers here, I consider staying hydrated apart of the safety regiment.

Updated Op to include member rankings and emphasize ridiculous competition where none should exist. Seriously, Revzilla, I want a cut of profits. Current leader ManyCavies, or as I like to call her, ManyJackets. (Unless Nemesis wants to count or Ken wants to include his glove tally. )

65. Also, you mentioned Aerostich but I think First Gear should be in there as well, especially for riding suits.

Also again, no special category for MC specific undergarments like wicking skull caps, cold weather socks, cold/warm undergarments like Under Armour (not recommended) or LD Comfort (highly recommended - designed and sold by a Long Distance Rider).

No mention of heated gear like Warm and Safe, Gerbing, etc... and specific components like heated vest, heated jacket liner, heated pant liner, heated gloves and heated boot inserts/socks.

All of these are also part of my riding gear. I am probably a big whore.

All of that type of gear isn't safety gear though. Floyd is a bit of a safety nazi

Then what about safety glasses or goggles? Face shield just doesn't cut it when it is flipped up for ventilation.

All that other stuff is safety gear: A two-twice Kathmandu Riding Suit with CE armour from First Gear is definitely in the safety list.

Cold weather gear is most definitely safety gear if you are out riding in the cold. By the same token, a hydration pack is safety gear if you are out riding in the extreme heat.

Undergarments under your clothes provide you with another layer of protection between skin and tarmac. if they are helping to keep you warm that is being safe. If they are wicking sweat to help with evaporative cooling, well, more safety.

So, yes, IMHO they are all part of the gear that should be used to keep one safe for the environment they are riding in. YMMV
