oh hey, my pit spot is featured at the start

not bad, smooth riding for the most part. Keep this up and you'll get bumped to red in due time as your pace picks up

No way! You were pitted next to us? I was hanging with Sicilia and Michele. I had my 250 with me too.

Ben! I do want to stiffen up the little fighter. I had it dynoed last time there and it only makes 25.17 hp and runs real rich. I'll have to research what jets to try and what springs to get. One of the coaches saw me going out on it and told me to start doing the Ninja races. I'll do the certification next time I go out.

stiffen up the front end before you do the races, there are two confirmed races remaining this season (one at njmp thunderbolt on oct 11th and one at nccar on oct 3rd) with two more that are likely to be rescheduled due to issues with the days (motoamerica screwed over 9/10 t-bolt and dominion isn't open)

A little too patient but I don't have tire warmers yet so I don't push it for the first two or three laps. I like the tires. It has old Metzler Rennsports on it. The rear let go twice in the same spot. I was running them 30.5 psi hot front and rear. The front felt ok. I'm going to have MarkBilt adjust the suspension to my weight next time out.

So that's why Sept 10 was cancelled. I was just about to change my schedule at work and register for it.

yeah, I was going to go and collect free points to guarantee that I finish 3rd in the ninja season but now I guess I'll actually have to race it out

basically what happened was two things
1. they would have had to clear out at 2pm rather than 5pm (who wants to end their day at 2pm? nobody)
2. motoamerica racers cannot get extra practice immediately before an event (I don't know how far this goes back time wise) which means the ktm kids and the motoamerica superstock racers can't run the gp moto races as was originally intended when that day was selected

racetech is the way to go, not the best but it's the best bang for your buck and it gets the job done

no point getting top end suspension for these bikes unless you're actually fast enough to use it which very very few riders actually are

Right. I'm having a blast on it. It handles a lot like the Ninja but faster and I can feel the extra weight in turns. I have to roll on throttle much slower than the Ninja obviously. The tail stepped out on me a couple of times.

I had a love/hate with mine. Tried pretty solidly to end me at TWS but also is fairly simple, robust, and generally decent bike.

actually has not been ridden since - so about a year

frame/engine/forks/wheels are all still pretty solid (scrapes and dings but intact) - everything else was trashed

most of the bike is back together in naked/stripped form and I need to get it out and ride it (need to find some cheap options for fairing stay and fairings)

Check out http://www.beasleycomposites.com/racebike_honda.htm . Supposed to be very good quality and I saw on fb that he's trying to unload his bike stuff. I want to get rid of the tail/seat on mine and get something with a lower hump. I keep hitting my foot on it getting in and out of the saddle. I'm short.

Some photos from my first track weekend on my 250 track build. I was bumped from N to I on day one by STT, then I to A by the coaches. I had one helluva time and believe I was running somewhere around a 2:08 lap time

@Sirref check out the sick back patch on the first photo. My Dainese zipper broke so I had to rent a suit. The only one my size was that white and pink one

@Floki.... dood!!! Nice work.

I had a good 3 day run at Mid-Ohio again, sore shoulder and all, but had some fun!

Sorry for the butt shots, I was flying solo since Jade is in school not shoot my free pics, and I don't buy pics very often any longer.

Oh! yea... I got a new suit after my crash last month. Love the white vs. the black.

^^ Love white suits

interesting light deflection pattern just below your left foot. I assume that's from the heat?
