guys, please don't cauterize anything, we aren't on a battle field.
Had plenty of classes that told me how, an tests I had to pass. X I'd say so
Haha you don't have to worry about me burning wounds closed, under normal circumstances

If someone cauterized a part of me I'd punch their face

I'll just sit quietly in a corner somewhere. Also, I'll be grateful that my stock exhaust isn't around anymore to tell stories.

I still have a really nice scar where a totaled S1000RR burned my calf about two months ago.

My stock exhaust is still around somehow, 18k mi and plenty of crashes on it to scratch it up. It still has stories of one of my passengers too since the heat shield doesn't go far enough up it melted part of her boot onto it. I'm still relieved she never noticed considering how much she pays for her shoes

My roommate got one of those leaning on my exhaust the other weekend at VIR. Either he didn't think that the exhaust would be that hot or he didn't realize it was even there and ended up with a sick scar on his leg from it.

as a sidenote, if the situation were dire enough I'd definitely use my exhaust to cauterize a wound so I don't bleed out while waiting for the EMS to show up...hopefully it never comes to that

I was really surprised that, considering the extent of her injury, she wasn't bleeding.

Seemed unlikely to me.

I was corner working and picking up the wrecked bike after he highsided. I forgot that every bike doesn't have an under tail exhaust like mine. I learned that day. Never again did I forget that
