bogs at 6.5k rpm
I have been chasing this problem for a while now and so far I was able to go off of previous posts, but couldn't find a post that discusses this issue.
I have two things that created issues for me. Background:
Current problem: My bike is I think starving fuel around 6.5k rpm, it stutters and seems like it will die. But when I throttle more or roll off the throttle it comes back. Things I have tried: I was reading a thread in the morning about ventilation in the tank and got to test the bike with the fuel cap open and it made no difference. Does that mean I have ruled out my gas tank problem? Tested the charging system and voltage stay around 13.5-14.7v from 1k rpm to 8k rpm. What has made a difference in the past is replacing the fuel filter. I replaced the fuel filter and ran without bogging for two days then the bog came back. Now I don't know what is causing the problem. It runs perfectly, idles good. Just dead around 6.5k rpm. |
