New member - Redirect?
Hi,
I am NZD from New Zealand, I ride a 2008 Ex250. I have been a lurker on this forum for a few years, I must admit mainly for when I need small reassurances for modifications on my EX250. I am now interested in making my Ninja look custom. Is there anywhere I can read more/see a project? I have a hacksaw and no access to a welding machine. I am interested in cutting the rear off just behind the seat. Will I need to reinforce it? or can I just cut it square and mount my tail lights? I have already ordered exhaust wrap and integrated lights to complete the look. Please redirect me to some threads or leave a suggestion,TIA https://ibb.co/PYp22P8 Last futzed with by NZD; September 13th, 2021 at 10:59 PM. Reason: image |

Hi and welcome!!!
I cut off rear subframe on my track bike. No problems structurally, you’ll just lose support for rear seat & passenger. Here’s nice custom job. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=117957 |

Yeah, I sent him question about his leftover yellow bodywork. But alas, he had already sold them off. Really cool build, doesn’t look hacked-up or incomplete as most naked builds are.
