he lost the front, then swung the rear out as the front caught, sending him off the side?
seems like he needs better tires... this is how simo crashed isn't it?

All I kept thinking was "where is his gear?" That, and flashing back on having to help a friend back up onto a hiking path and having a similar experience as he did when he tried climbing back up to the road.
