I was just introduced to a company from Holland, Lookwell. They make leather and textile gear. I was given the chance to test out one of their adventure style jackets to see if I can stop my quest of drooling after Klim.

First ride home, 80*F, going 60-65MPH, this thing was completely wind proof. I felt nothing inside the jacket and only wind at my neck in the gap between my helmet and the collar. If it proves to be just as waterproof as it is windproof I will be in love!

Ya know I'm actually in love with my Cortech Adrenaline jacket. I didn't know what to expect when I first made the purchase, but it quickly turned into my favorite piece of gear. I do really wonder how it will hold up in a crash though

I just picked up an A* Jaws perforated jacket from RevZilla. I was in Philly and decided to drop by their store just to browse. Of course browsing turned into purchasing.

Jacket seems extremely well made. I also picked up a 3DO back protector insert as well. Haven't had a chance to ride with yet. Maybe this wkend.

I initially wanted their GP Plus R perforated jacket (which is also really high quality as well), but for $50 bux more, I opted for the Jaws because of the liner. I want to be able to ride as far into the fall as possible and ride as early as late winter as possible.

I was actually surprised how light the jacket was. I know leather is far superior to textile (in terms of rash protection), but compared to my textile Joe Rocket jacket, it didn't seem as rugged (which also surprised me). Thoughts? Any of you have both textile and leather? Does the textile feel bulkier than the leather?

When my budget allows it, I want to purchase a pair of leather riding pants (for everyday riding) that won't make me look like a wannabe racer (currently have a textile pair of Olympia summer pants). Any suggestions?

Does anybody else have experience with this jacket?
