2024 Portimão Moto2 Practice 1 Result: Lopez Leads The Way Conditions had greatly improved by the time the intermediate class returned to the track for some more practice and lap times promptly improved as well, although the name at the top of the timing screens stayed the same for much of the session. Although Manuel Gonzalez held the spotlight for a considerable amount of time, Alonso Lopez attacked top spot on the timesheets with three minutes left and could not be displaced. Aron Canet slotted in behind the Speed Up rider, only one hundredth of a second behind, with Joe Roberts another tenth back.
