Housing Control Assembly issues

So, my mechanic busted off the locator pin for my right side housing control assembly (killswitch/ignition). It all works, just the damned locator pin is snapped off and somewhere in the wilderness now. Is there any way to jerry-rig it as a temporary fix? This is my primary source of transportation. Have any of you run into this issue before?

Thanks in advance.

Others may jump in with better advice or a good reason to be concerned however; when I first put on my clip-ons, I did not drill a hole for the locator and in fact I ground the pin flush.
I now have another non stock assembly for my track settup and there is no locator pin involved. Just make sure the assembly is tight and doesn't easily rotate when you twist the grip!

It's not a huge deal. I broke mine off because I didn't feel like drilling my new bars.
