SOLVED! EX300 Header inlet size vs. EX250J inlet header size

Are the header sizes the same o.d. on the EX300 and the EX250J model? I am curious if they are the same size at the exhaust port, or if the EX300 has larger pipes?? This is for a race project and if they are larger, I can cut and weld them for my application. Thanks!

Probably not many people on the forum today. Patience! There's a lot of Turkey to digest! Bump it on Sunday if you haven't heard anything.
Sorry; I'm of no help for that question

I'd give you a Helpful Post but I'm not even half way there yet!

Cool! Thanks, Somchai! I have a 2012 EX250R header, but those 25.4mm (1") id pipes are pretty small.. I was looking at a EX300 header, and I think I can weld the headpieces to it to make a better performing 2-1 pipe for my 86 EX250E1 track bike. 28.6mm should give the same id as the pregen 250 pipes, and I will gut the cat out of the collector to get better flow. I appreciate the info brother.
