we were hanging out. i was in the truck. they were doing race starts but they were doing them ALL wrong so i had to show them how to do it right. do 2 pretty good starts and coming back from the second one i accidentally bottomed out the forks and lock the front up and dropped it like a noob in flipflops with no gear. got a boo boo on my elbow. lesson learned. don't be such a stupid squid and dont crash other peoples bikes. almost no damage

Since you already know wearing gear is important and this is was (an unfortunate) one time thing, we can only hope they've learned how to do a proper race start from your demo!

Hope your elbow heals well and quickly.

Be glad, they have learned two good lessons from you:

1) How to do pretty good starts.

2) How to bottom out the forks and lock the front up and drop it like a noob in flipflops with no gear.

how i race start: rev to 10.5k waiting with clutch just barely rubbing, all your weight on your chest on the tank. on go, go WOT and let the clutch out. if you loop the bike, you are letting it out too fast, if you dont wheelie, you are letting it out to slow.
