Some NEW farkles

So I'm making progress...DIY painted windscreen, my ZX-2R and Kawi decals, and my seat cowl...I think it looks ALOT better!

Lookin' NICE. Best color too. Where did you get the small Ninja logo?

I've found that the blue-colored MoTrax/SpeedMetal windscreen screws from Cycle Gear match very well with CP Blue. The only problem is that they aren't long enough to easily mount on the lower two windscreen holes, though I managed it, and replacing the other bolts on your bike will require a second pack ($16 each). You'll probably need the rubber wellnuts though... that's what I bought them for.

I like the decals a lot! The white adds to the blue very well.
You still want to trade the CF exhaust?

Born and Bread...nice. I hope it was a nice multi-grain or sour dough

Dig the ninja decal on the windscreen for sure.

I like the Kawi sticker on the bottom faring.... I haven't seen that done before. I usually like decals at a minimum and solid colors, but that is done very tastefully and I think adds to the look.

CThunder-Blue (Tri) here on these forums makes them. Shoot him and email, and he'll sell some to you. Different color options, too. Nice guy, reliable to deal with, etc.

why do people put the zx-2r decals on their 4th gen 250r? if anything, shouldn't it be EX-250.. the zx-2r is a totally different bike as far as I know...

i guess it's just like, people like to put 'type R' on the normal civics?

There has been no such thing as a ZX-2R in many years, so it's not like people are masquerading as something else. Right now the Ninja 250 is the closest thing to it that Kawi offers. (Though a 4-cylinder 250 with a redline approaching 20k would be a fun addition to the garage if it were ever offered again!)
