I just looked through your colors and I REALLY LIKE your "bentley blue". It looks very nice. I'm considering getting some new sprockets, so I might send you one of them to powdercoat before I install it. You wouldn't happen to have a ball park estimate on how much would you charge for that? I might also send you the pipe system to my exhaust before I install that as well. Again, I have to wait until after I get it. Great service though! Thanks for offering it!

Edit -- I also thought I might send you my rearset, and my rear pegs/brackets. Anybody know if those can survive 400 degrees F? (along with all the other things I listed...)

Now THAT is music to my ears! I'm in! I will await word that your wheel exchange program is up and running!

Are bearings/seals reuseable in these things? That is, do they come out easily enough that they're usually not destroyed in teh process? Otherwise, front and rear, it's about $100 for new bearings and seals.

From what I understand, new bearings/seals need to be installed.

Would be great if Tim says otherwise.

Its always a Good idea to Replace the Bearings while Wheels are apart..

But with that being Said... I have done alot of Used/Newer & Brand New Bike Wheel Sets and Removed & reused The Bearings & Seals without any Issues..
And thats on about 200+ Sets of Wheels..

I would NEVER accept any swap on rotors, too easy to get someone elses trash (gouged, excessive wear for mileage, warped). Calipers are crap shoot, too. Too easy to get ones that have issues.

i was wondering if anyone around here did any powdercoating. i have a small setup in my garage, but nothing like what you got tim. i mainly do parts for bmx bikes and other small stuff. i can do 20" bmx rims but thats about as big as i can do. i just do it for fun mainly, a hobby kinda. everything i've done so far has turned out great. sooner or later i need to build a big oven so i can do frames as well. if i ever want to get my 250 rims done, i'll send them your way.

i love doing it, i find it more forgiving than paint. i actually got started because i couldn't find a certain part in a certain color for a bmx bike i was restoring. its a cool hobby and you can make some extra money doing it for friends, not to mention saving money doing your own stuff. if anyone has done any parts on their bikes it would be cool to throw up some pics.
