The winter show season

The International Motorcycle Show hits NYC in winter.. this year in mid-December.

Usually I go just to get a bike fix and watch the freak show in those dark months when there is no racing on TV, there is no riding, there is nothing to do but wait.

Typically the show is nothing you can't see by just visiting a dealer (though last year they did have the Spirit of Munro on display, which was COOOL, plus I got to see the 300 for the first time).

This year, though, I'm really looking forward to it. I REALLY want to get a look at that new BMW naked bike and I'm hoping EBR and KTM will show up with their new machinery.

How about you? What are you jonesing to lay hands on and drool over?

I hope NYC gets a better exhibition than we did over on the west coast. I really wanted to check out the 899 panigale. They had a dealer bring in 3 ducatis. Ducati wasnt even there. Honda didn't even bring out the updated cbr 1000. Which is a shame because the new one looks so much better than the 08 and up.

I was actually kinda disappointed with the showroom. But talk with kawasaki and honda reps. Just a little teaser, a small bore v4 motor and a triple might be be in the works.
