[visordown.com] - Lito Sora electric motorcycle starts production
 A NEW electric motorcycle with a 118mph top speed and a battery range of up to 124 miles has entered its first production run. The Lito Sora makes 63lbft of torque - 13 more than Yamaha's new 698cc MT-07 - from zero rpm. Its claimed range is 62 miles in town or 124 on the motorway and it takes nine hours to charge. Canadian maker Lito has developed a power-management system which enables the rider to programme a destination and rations power delivery to ensure arrival. The Sora has carbon fibre fairing and an aluminium frame, helping keep the weight to 260kg. It also has what Lito claims to the be the 'world's first ever electric motorbike seat' which can be height-adjusted on the move. Prices start at CAD$46,399 (£25,375). The Sora will be displayed at the Montreal Motorcycle Show on February 28 and produced in Quebec. Click here for full story...
