Fairing alignment issue - HELP PLEASE (video)

Link to original page on YouTube.

Details are in the video.

Gist of the video: fairngs fit decent, took them off to repaint, when I put them back on they do not line up. Video explains it better.

Any advice or experience on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Well,

Not an expert but my thought process is that the front cowl is not on correctly which is throwing off the lower fairings. Take the sides off and look at the front to see if you can figure out where the problem is.

Maybe one of the bolts on the front stay is off, maybe a hose or wire is pushing it out of alignment, dunno.

But it does seem to me to start there.

I'm pretty sure your front fairing stay is bent. It's normal after a crash. Replace!

Forgive my ignorance, but are you referring to the "cage" in the nose cowl?
