2010 throttle sticking?
Hey guys, the throttle on my 2010 250r is sticking.
Acts like a suicide throttle right now. How can I go about fixing this or should I bring it to a dealer? Its got warranty until 2015.

When did it start sticking? Is your throttle grip touching the throttle housing or barend? If those two conditions do not exist, look at your carb and inspect your throttle linkage to see if something is causing it to bind. If you are not sure and incapable of fixing it yourself, then of course take it to a dealer.

When you work it it feels like something is binding a little.

(about the width of a credit card) between the black bar end and the throttle grip. Try pushing the grip on further or slightly move the throttle housing to get the necessary clearance. |

Fixed!
Where I had it strapped down it pulled the throttle assembly to the left. Loosened the screw, moved it and it works great now p.s. nice post count :P
