Talking First ride of the season!

Being from Canada, I have to wait till it warms up enough, ( I hate being cold on the bike).
So Today was the day!! it was about 20, for you U.S folk that's about 72, so it was perfect!
I had the "first ride after all winter" jitters, but as soon I pulled out of my street it all came back, it felt great!
My husband and I did an afternoon tour , about 150 km, just enough time for my clutch hand to get sore,, LOL I really have to exercise and get my strength back.
But I just had to post, cause I'm so jealous of anyone that can ride year round.. though I guess you don't have this whole anticipation and the "Thrill of the first ride" each year.

I understand COMPLETELY Scorpielle; as it was in the mid to high 70's here as well and I took the bike out for a ride as well.

I couldn't imagine not being able to ride all year ... here in NC the weather isn't always perfect, but I'll ride in the cold or heat!

Glad you managed to finally get out though

First ride ... I've already put just over 1150 km on my bike. But you're right this weekend has been fantastic. Enjoy!

Here in utah it is 65 today and high 70's all week, finally some good riding weather. I live by a road that is popular for bikers to ride on and it has been like a bike parade today. My boys and I like to sit out in the backyard and watch all the different bikes that go by.

I had 4 days away from home and couldn't ride my bike, as soon as I got home I was in to talk to her and just couldn't wait to go for a ride. I would hate to think how you people that cannot ride for months at a time do that!

I can't ride for the pass two days (due to rain) and I already miss her. Hopefully there will be no rain tomorrow (at least not in the morning!)
