Question How To Change the Oil and Filter on Kawasaki Ninja 300 Motorcycle Video Tutorial

Link to original page on YouTube.

In this video I showcase how to change the oil on your Kawasaki Ninja 300 ex300 ZX-3R using regular "Dino" oil 10w40 along with a genuine Kawasaki filter. If there is no dealer close to you or you would simply like to order online you may purchase a Ninja 300 Oil Change Kit via Amazon Vendor @ www.TinyURL.com/Ninja300OilChangeKit
This kit includes
3 Quarts Kawasaki Motorcycle Oil 10w40
1 Kawasaki Oil Filter
1 Crush Washer
Shipped for ~36 USD

I hope this information helps someone! I enjoy making these types of videos and yes I know there are already some Ninja 300 oil change videos -- in fact some great videos I viewed a few of them.

Noob question but why does the washer need to be replaced? I'm doing my 1st oil change tomorrow and I didn't buy the washer.

it's just to ensure a quality seal there -- so no oil seeps out to my knowledge, perhaps someone else can chime in as well

You should be fine re using the washer in this case, the stock crush washer looked great on this 300

the crush washer is designed to deform when you torque it to create a 'perfect' seal (sort of a metal, one time gasket). If you reuse it then it is not going to be aligned in the same place and will not create as good a seal. 99% of the time you'll be fine, but I always replace mine anyway to be a perfectionist.

With the slipper clutch is it OK to use either Rotella T, T5 or T6?
