Motorcycle related books
Can anyone recommend a good one?
As long as it's about bikes, I'm interested. Anything from technical skill-oriented technique type of stuff to an autobiography of a famous rider. Been a while since I read a good book. Want to make sure I remember how to read.

Well, Kieth Code's Twist of the Wrist II, of course. Plus the video... invaluable addition to the book that helps you make sense of it. Buy both.
It's really not that well written, but the information is priceless. Ieanatsch's Sport Riding Techniques is also good. Total Control, by Lee Parks. New edition just out... don't know how it's changed. Proficient Motorcycling, by David Hough, should be on everyone's shelf. It's mostly about safe riding strategies. He's also got a follow-on book, but I don't know anything about that one.

I've heard shop class as soulcraft and zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance are good but I own both and only made it halfway through each..

I have proficient motorcycling by david houghes. I have to admit..... it is extremely boring to read. i would rather get on my bike and learn to ride naturally like that.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance isn't really about motorcycles at all. It's philosophy with a central character just happening to ride a motorcycle.
