Several for mine...
I like the band snot,
I wanted something that would hide my gender and
My mother called me her little snot when I was younger

Nevada Wolf

I live in Nevada and am absolutely in love with this amazing, beautiful, fantastic state!
I find wolves to be an amazing animal, (though most of what I know is likely internet silliness). Just something primal about them.

I get to have fun too as I end up with people who don't know Twitter/Facebook thinking I'm the University of Nevada Wolf Pack team account. They are NevadaWolfPack while I'm NevadaWolf. You'd think the TARDIS avatar would give it away...?

That's the South! UNLV is the Rebels, UNR is the Wolf Pack! GO PACK!

(seriously, the only game I really care about is the annual North vs South game where the Fremont Cannon is up for grabs. Currently, the Cannon is red - darn Rebs! - but we'll get it back and then it'll be painted a proper Nevada Blue!)

Yep indeed Kerry.

If the person is a male, so he is called "Abu".

If the person is a female, so she is called "Ummu".

But if your children calls you, it would not be Abu, but instead it is "Abi" for father and "Ummi" for mother.

Neat! I'm learning stuff!

I don't know how I'd end up being named. No kids, and far too many hobbies to pick one for an identity.

I end up having different names for different message boards.

If you want to be named with motorcycling as your hobby, so your nickname would be "Ummu Ad-Daraajaad An-Naariyyah".

Daraajaad means "cycling". Since it is specified to you then the "Ad" is added for specification to you.

Naariyyah means "motorized" or "burnt (as petrol is burnt to move objects inside engine)" and again since it is specified to an individual so the character "An" is added for specification to you. The arabic form would be :

الدراجات النارية

I bought my first motorcycle, a 1972 Kawasaki H2 (3 cylinders), in 1978, and until three years ago, it was the only motorcycle I owned. I'm "Jim" on the Kawasaki triples boards, and when I join a board that has "Jim" already taken, I add "Triple" to the front. So far that version has been available whenever "Jim" is taken.

I like to ride and I like to dance!
And during my MSF course, our coach said riding your bike was like dancing with a partner, you have to move as one. And then he asked if anyone danced, I raised my hand, not knowing he'd make me demonstrate......
But yeah. That's why

Oddly, I don't like that type of dancing! I like learning choreography/combinations and performing them, especially lyrical, jazz, and hip hop.
But when it comes to dancing in a club/bar... I don't like it

Singer and his dog was killed in an accident in 1998.

"Lynn Strait was traveling from Santa Barbara, California to Los Angeles and became involved in a six-car crash. The crash occurred on a highway off-ramp. Only one other driver, David Redderson, was injured in the crash and he was released from Saint Francis Hospital in Santa Barbara. Also killed in the accident was Strait's dog, Dobbs, who graced the cover of the band's 1997 debut album, Get Some and served as the group's mascot."

Different strokes for different folks... I never got into structured dancing past the spectator level

That's what I was thinking! I started on a "72 S2 (350) in "73, and had to carry extra plugs anytime I left the yard, limped home more than once with only 2 cylinders, sometimes chugging along on only 1. I kinda miss that bike.

I use Z1R rider name on most of the bike boards.

Early in owning the H2, I did foul a lot of plugs. At some point someone told me if it's doing that, something is wrong, so I started checking things. In my case I found that the float needles were worn and not closing properly, so I fixed that. I have since never once fouled a plug. I normally go several thousand miles before I even look at them now. The stock injector pump averages about a 50:1 mix, getting down around 20:1 at wide open throttle, and approaching 100:1 at low throttle cruise speeds.

If anyone here is going to the Bull City Rumble in Durham on Labor Day weekend, you can see the old gal, and I'll even pull a plug so you can see the brown-tan color if you like.
