----------------- Day two in Texas was just as sunny and scenic and once more opened by the intermediate class showing off their race pace and fighting for Q2 tickets. However, it was a short-lived fight, with yellow flags halting progress in the final handful of minutes of the session and identifying yellow flag infringements taking longer than the actual time attack. After Aron Canet and Fermín Aldeguer both saw record-breaking laps cancelled, Jake Dixon got to keep top spot on the combined standings by one hundredth of a second.
