Southern Meet and Greet

Let's organize a Southern Meet and Greet. Most people living in the States of Louisiana, Texas (East), Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama live within a few hrs travel of each other. Depending on the location of those that are interested we could meet up "in the middle". Sometime in the Month of August would give people enough time to plan and the temps should be a bit cooler.
Well Southerners let me know what you think and we will come up with a date, and place.

What, no Southern riders out ther? It seems that most of the group rides happen out West and the North East.

I would but around that time I will be moving from good ol fort sill oklahomo to foley Alabama but if I'm free and haven't started my civilian job life yet I'd love to try and go

August a bit cooler? Which Louisiana do you live in?

Heat doesn't bother me so whenever is fine. September would be cool, but I'll be just east of Lake Charles alligator hunting almost every weekend.

I think Shreveport/Bossier would be an ideal city as there is plenty to do there; Good food, Casinos, etc. If more people want to come from Alabama than from Texas, I guess somewhere in MS would be ideal.

Shreveport would be cool iv always drove through there but never realy stopes and had fun when a date and place is set il see if I can make it or not but I'd love to. It gives me an excuse to get out of the house and ride

Shreveport/Bosier city sounds good to me. Let's see if we can get some more people to chime in and we will start planning a date.
