Near Disaster at 24 Hours of Le Mans

Racing for third place, Honda National Motos wass rushing to fill their CBR1000RR when all of a sudden gallons of race fuel come out of the refueling hose, and slathered the bike in flammable liquid.

It's never good to see stuff like that. But what I can't believe is that the only man wearing complete fireproofs etc was the refueller. Those other mechs should have been nowhere near that bike without the proper gear. Bet there's lots of nasty flash burns there

Same thing happened at the Daytona 200 but they didn't try to wipe it off, they just got away and wouldn't let the rider back on. Luckily it didn't catch on fire.

Somebody was FIRED! Someone didn't close the fuel line, that was a lot of fuel that spewed out of there.

More than one bullet was dodged at this race (Both riders hurt badly, but both survived )
