hey Czroe do you have the gt501 on the bike now and are these just a back up if so how many miles do you have on them I just hit 7200 miles and they still look like I can get 3-4k out of them,I just want to know b/c I think I will buy another set of the gt501

On my first set the wear bars started reaching the surface a bit past 8.2K. I continued to irresponsibly ride 'em past 9K (taking it easy) until I finally found some on eBay (I liked these tire too much to settle for something else). By that time I was noticibly losing traction... the shallow tread past the wear-bars was disappearing! I'll take a pic before I throw 'em out.

I'm going to get my brother to keep these for when I inevitably return to GA and, if I need them sooner, he can send me the rear.
