Aside from 400km on the road, an oil change a DID ERT2 non Oring, with two extra links for long wheelbase, 100mm back/75mm up pegs on my own custom plates, race shift, and handlebars swapped left to right and turned upside down, I smashed my 250 pb by almost a second and ran 4 secs of the 300 lap record in the 4th 15 min session.
Not bad straight out of the box.

Its true love and worth the wait.

Getting them and the 390 into the race series for 2016.

Not needed here in most Cali track orgs....no need for anyone to look behind

It aint glass anymore either. I used to run mirrors before but not removed them, waiting on track fairings to be delivered....

Ask your trackday organization. It might be a good idea to tape it with masking tape so u don't leave shards in case of a crash

Looks nice the track surface does. Back a few years back there were 2 seams along the track n I think the right/left combo after little bend would be scary with it being off camber too. Did they resurface recently?

Not that I'm aware of. This is the short course. The one with big bend and little bend is the 1.7 mile course. It looked the same to me, but I didn't get to ride it this time. This was the first time I was on the 1.3 mile circuit. I hated it at first. Then it finally clicked and I learned to like it by the end of the day.

Was asking you specifically.

I know I have to tape mine. Have a second set of track fairings that I remove the headlight for.

A few pics from the track day at Hallett on 6/21. Starting to get my BP where I want it to be. Still need to work on getting my head down a little bit lower and straightening/laying the outside arm on the tank.

Bonus cool pic of a couple friends on Ninjettes learning a new track togeher:

I'll be at work that weekend. Not sure if I'll make Hallett again this season or not. I may wind up at MSRC 8/1-8/2 and Barber 9/27-9/28. Depends on how the budget flows. I thought I wasn't going to make any track time happen this year, but managed to pull two weekend off in a month.

That might actually happen. This was my first time there and I was already running the same pace as the CMRA guys fastest 250s and I feel like shaving at least another second, maybe two, is possible. I'd really like to get a time in the 1:30.X range and feel like it's achievable by growing some balls in a couple corners I felt I was to slow through. Definitely have some confidence going in to this race! :-)

I agree 100%. If it happens, it will be a product of lean angle/speed because I am going that fast and need to lean like that, not because I'm trying to get a cool pic. I can just take the GoPro up to the school parking lot up the road for that.. Haha. I'm very hungry to get my first win, now, after my first podium (2nd place) in May. I still have a bit of unused tire, too. :-)

My friend touched his elbow in the bus stop running advanced group last time. He almost ate it though. He said both tires slid and snapped him back up. I think they were running 1:27s out there.

Yeah, I was sliding a lot in the bus stop, too. I don't know if it's because of the camber of the corner, hitting the patches, or what. The photographer got some awesome video footage and you can see several people sliding in that turn.

What kind of bikes were they on running :27's? My best time was a :32.6 and I was averaging :33's. Just wondering because it was my first time there and other than CMRA guys, I have no idea what a decent time is for a 250. I figured I was doing alright riding in Advanced and it didn't seem like I was getting in anyone's way.

Last race there CMRA 250s at the pointy end were running low high 1 32s and low 1 33s, the 300s and 390s were high 1 30s low 1 31s. Conditions were not great but not terrible if I remember correctly. Like high of 85H/60L and cloudy. Either way your right up there at the pointy end and absolutely GETTING AFTER IT if your in the 1 32s on a 250

Black ZX10 and a GSXR 1000 w/ hi-viz wheels. I was running low 1:40s on my ZX6R. Guess I need to step up my game. Lol
