uploading pictures

What is the best way to paste pictures into a post? I did as a file upload, but all you see is the link to the file. Also what is best resolution and file type to use? Thanks.

Here's a link to a sticky thread at the top of the Pictures section; it goes through the different ways to get pics up to this site. Take a peek and post back up if you need help.

I use an outside source like Photobucket. One that has the image code. I copy and paste that into the thread and it posts it.

example (with spaces so you can see the code) [ IMG ]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/S2_Rp/Photoshop/BlackHoleAssasin.png[/ IMG]

If you are trying to load it through Ninjette you have to use the Advanced reply (not quick) photo upload which is the little button that looks like a paperclip. Browse for the image on your harddrive and embed it for you.

Hope that helps!

Thank you both. I used the attach button, but maybe because my pic was a thumbnail it just shows as an attachment.
