Not ex, just added the biggest Ninja!

2008 ZX-14 already took it to the canyons. Great comfort as a touring
bike with heli bars, and great thru the turns! In fact it feels like my Ninjette
with steroids, riding position and flickability!
BTW I've driven a lot of fast vehicles, and this by far has more G's
in acceleration than anything I've ever been on!

No that's not me smoking the $7.50 a pack cigs!
He was riding the Star cruiser! Was very happy
to meet a guy my age finally. He actually younger at 58 and I'm 61!
I quit smoking in my late 20's when I got tired of my wife
always asking me to smoke outside. And I did notice a shortness
of breath going up the stairs which caused me some concern too!
Anyways glad I could quit the nasty habit!

This is me on the ZX-14 when I picked it up at the BMW dealer
for $7500!

BTW if you are ever here in LA you can stay at my place! My wife
is Korean and she makes all the authentic recipes from her homeland
taught her by her grandmother!

thanks! I love Korean food and am always looking for people that make it using the the old country recipes. Speaking of recipes, care to share her recipe for some old fashion Won Bok (napa cabbage) kimchee? My best to your wife.

You need to post some of your meals in this thread... long deceased, but still open for those that are willing to share. Would be great to see some Korean food additions.

I'll have to take some pictures! All I know she love to go to koreatown here to buy all her ingredients.
Lots of cabbage to make kim chee. Puts it in a big
stainless steel pan with salt to draw out all the water. Then wears rubber
gloves and mixes the ingredients. I even asked her to share the recipe on
youtube but she just smiled! We got tons of gallon kimchee jars still but
when she runs out I'll take the pictures!

man, that must be a rush. when i have my throttle wide open, my bike some times scares me... and it has no where near the power of your bike.

Wonder how long will it take to get over this new bike and ride my ninjette again. As of now 1 month so far ninjette sits idle in garage!

How much of a difference in throttle response?
Is it true that just a slight twist and the thing leaps in MPH - causing some uncontrolled smiling I sure?
You always hear about how a crash occured because of an unintentional twist of the throttle on the bigger bikes.

By the way, it looks mean.

Yes slight twist lifts the front wheel, and you don't even know it until the wheel drops back to the ground! So much torque!
Just have to be aware when it is safe to intentionally twist the throttle to avoid the unintentional crash!
