No Vacuum Petcock

Does anyone have source for a non-vacuum actuated petcock that'll fit my '06 EX250? Thought I could mod the standard new petcock I got on Ebay to remove the vacuum portion, but that didn't work and now there's gas all over the bike....

What was wrong with ebay petcock?
If it functions properly, it should open and close by vacuum from carbs.

The sealing done by main flow section is independent of vacuum diaphragm.

I'm using Keihin CR carbs that don't have a vacuum line.

try manual petcock like this.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/154396070531

I would confirm measurements with them as many of these are too short. The lever ends up hitting inside of tank and it can't be installed.

Hey Gordon,

Thanks for chiming in! I did find one from Ebay that says it'll fit, but who knows. If it doesn't fit I'll send it along.

BTW, any interest in the stock carbs?

Rich

Petcock repair (after I mangled it!) came out great! Put it on the bike, added fresh gas, no leaks, and fired up the bike up. Thanks again, Ducatiman!!
