Wiring help
I work in a shifty neighborhood on night shifts, and the only way to see my bike is if a headlight is on, so i wanted to wire an led so i can see its there. How do i safely go about doing this without killing my battery or setting my bike on fire? I was thinking to either wire it to the fan, because that seems to get power even when the bike is off, or directly to the battery. Does anyone have any better ideas? Do i have to put some sort of restrictor between bulb and wire? Will it affect my battery?

Wired in to the battery with a resistor before it to prevent the 12.7/14v & higher amps from blowing it should do. The draw from a single LED should be negligible especially on a bike that's run regularly.
Or find an alarm with a LED. |
