Woodcraft woes

So I put on wonderful Woodcraft "Risers" lowering my handlebars and also lowering my front fork and adding a dogbone extension kit for the rear down about two inches last year. Bikes handles great. Only problem is the front forks protrude through and look unsightly. Any suggestions on covering these?

Well, I wasn't looking for anything functional. They stick out about 1.5 inches or so. $99 is a bit much and there's nothing for them to screw on to from what I can see.

You have to take the forks caps off to install the pre-load adjusters. They aren't hard to do at all though.

i ended up installing the preload adjusters, and recommend them.

the only other thing to do is scour the hardware store and see if they make a pvc plug thats a similar diameter and get an oring to snug it up.

"Unsightly?" I think seeing the forks through the top looks good. It's how all the other modern sportbikes do it, though the supersports have USD forks.

I have preload adjusters on my "to do" list. Too bad they aren't offered in black or silver. Gold will have to do I guess. Is the above brand the ones everyone recommends?

Odd that the rider they have listed as using them is riding a bike without any installed:

Draik has SlingShot Racing brand on his, they are Red though...

Good to hear so now Slingshot Racing just need an updated picture. It struck me funny to see his bike on their site pictured without their preload adjusters.

Anyone try the Sato adjusters? They are supposed to offer great quality products but I've never personally owned any of their parts. A good friend of mine had their exhaust system on his RC51 and it was very nice.

Sato offers the adjusters in black, gold, and silver with the center piece being gold in all 3. They look great to me.
