Ninja 250 Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W40 Oil analysis
Junkyard motor with unknown miles and history. I remember when I pulled it the crankcase was filled with a old fuel and oil since when I found it, it was sitting on its side for a long time outside (dry rotted seals and gummed up carbs).
The old report was my original motor before I lost compression at 20k+ miles. On this sample, I used the Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W40. I'm due for a valve check/adjust and maintenance so I plan on flushing the motor with some fresh oil and refilling with Mobil 1 for a resample. I'm not sure if aluminum is from the pistons or from the cam chain slapping against the insides--I need to check over my CCT.

I dig the oil analysis plans, really should do a better job using a similar service to watch for engine health.

Oh you're fine.
It losing compression probably had to do with me running the Rotella oil longer than I should have, considering how much track and spirited riding I did.
