----------------- When the premier class rode their first laps on Friday morning, the warmth of Brno must have felt like an ice cave compared to Jerez a fortnight ago. Regardless, Takaaki Nakagami was in his element once again and put his name back at the top of the timesheets, helped by some fresh rubber at the end of FP1. Joan Mir followed his example and followed him in the hierarchy, only one hundredth of a second behind the leader.
