Well put and exactly the way it works.

When we tested several different slip-on only designs on the 250r, we simply never got more .3 - .6 (yes, tenths...) of a hp improvement, henceforth, we never offered a slip-on. We actually got better improvement with simply rejetting and keeping the oem muffler. When our FI programmer arrives within the next week or so for the 300, we'll begin our final testing of all the prototypes we've designed. We will also test with some slip-on designs as well. The oem muffler on the 300 actually works very well within the design limitations of the oem headpipe, sound levels and A/F curve.

When i first got the bike, i didn't intend to do anything with it, but after hearing about the progress in the mods for it, i.e., exhausts, i'm tempted to dive in. i've been wanting to do an undertail exhaust and i'd seriously pay top dollar for that kind of mod

It would be very nice and interesting plus would also make the motorcycle more balanced :S

Da fuq? You wouldn't be able to notice the weight.

Is that tuned with ecu management? Doesn't seem like much to brag about although it does increase across the whole power band.

Guys try Totsubo motorsport exhaust if you want a bad ass exhaust. its painfully loud but it has a distinct sound since it has a 2-2 configuration unlike others.

Heres the Totsubo...
