Rocker arm mod
Does anyone know of modifications to the rocker arm
As far as improving the rear suspension. Other Than cleaning and putting oil inside all the 3 pivot shafts including The upper tie rod pivot shaft on the swing arm. And swing arm bearings. Is this all that can be done. I'm tring to eliminate the jack hammer effect and sling shot in my rear suspension. Last futzed with by JAG; August 26th, 2013 at 02:18 PM. |

Modifications to those pieces are for lowering the bike for short riders.
The swingarm's pivot needs cleaning and lubrication as well. The needle bearings can develop some play that will affect handling. Check that the shock absorber has no play in the upper bushing, that the rod is not scratched or corroded and that no oil leaks through the seal is visible. It takes only the top bolt to remove it for inspection.

Are you meaning oil in the top part of the shock. Didnt notice any play. I had the
Shock out and there's no give to the rubber part. Didn't see any oil leak. Can that be replaced. Wonder how much damping effect there is there. Too much unknowns with this suspension Last futzed with by JAG; August 26th, 2013 at 02:20 PM. |

Don't use oil to lubricate the bearings in the unitrack linkage. Pack them with high temp bearing grease with Lithium and Molybdenum disulfide.

Grease got it ill get some. If the shocks weren't so expensive I'd buy
