I need some float bowl gaskets ...
Anyone got a set they can sell? If not, anyone get a recommendation for a rebuild kit for a 98 Ninja 250?
Thanks,

Thanks for the info. Shockingly, the local dealer has some gaskets in stock. I'm gonna buy a pair tomorrow.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/320995496161...84.m1497.l2649 Kit is only a buck or so more than just the needle fromdealer. I did verify with seller that needle was included. I guess I will pop the tops on mine when they get here and replace both needles where they will be the same. Gonna drop a couple of the 3 mm washers in there as well and hope I am running like a scalded dog! |

Looks like main jet/needle but no pilot jet/needles?

I ordered a couple kits that look like that. There's an idle screw, float needle, but not the long main needle I think you're thinking of.

Hey guys,
Everything is back together with no leaks. When I pulled the floats off it was pretty obvious that the gaskets were shot. Here's a tip. Turn your bowls sideways and look at hte gaskets. If they're so flat the no longer are visible above the top of the groove, you need to replace them.
