New member from maui, hawaii
Hi guys! My name is Jay. Purchased a 2012 ninja 250r passion red 2 weeks ago. It has 4000 miles in it and runs solid true to the kawasaki quality. It has been my first real bike here in the U.S. I am absolutely in love with it and i hope it will stay with me for a long time.

I visited Maui back in 2010 for a friend's wedding.
I rented a Kawi Versys 650 and rode up and down Haleakala a few times, even rode out to Hana and back. If I rented a smaller dual sport, I would have taken it off-road to explore. Also pedaled my way up Haleakala (sea level to 10,000+ ft.) on a bicycle, I prepared about 2 months for the ride up, still took about 4 hours to get to the top, along with two long breaks for food; but only too me less than 35 mins to get back down the hill.
