custom earplugs???
i want custom earplugs. where can i buy the mix to make my own? i dont want to pay $50 and have someone make them for me, i would rather buy bulk of the material and make my own. any ideas? i looked at cvs and local pharms but couldnt find what i wanted. anyone done this by them self?
i mean i could buy these http://www.radians.com/main/p-282-ra...-earplugs.aspx but i want to be able to make a lot of them, for friends and whatever. plus i always lose my earplugs...

Are the moldable pellet things out of the question? You can pick up like six packs of those at local pharmacies and stuff. They're just small wax tablet looking things that you squish into your ears and it forms itself. Or are you dead set on actually making them from scratch on your own?

The foamy ones are fine, but they wear out after using them a couple times.
I found these on sale: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...3Bcat104381280 |

The foam ones degrade in performance over time? I use the same set until I lose them, been on this set for a month or two and I haven't noticed much of a difference.

I can't find ANYTHING about the long term use of foam ear plugs online... Nothing that I'm looking for at least.

Custom plugs did not offer a high enough NNR value for me. Could only find ones that offer 26 NNR - needed something over 30.
