[faster and faster] - 2016 Indian Scout Sixty provides an easy, affordable entry into

The 2016 Indian Scout Sixty is the new 'easy rider,' in a way that only the Americans can do...

Indian Motorcycle have a new addition to their line-up, which was unveiled recently at the EICMA, in Milan. The 2016 Indian Scout Sixty is powered by a 60 cubic inch (999cc) engine, hence the name Scout Sixty, and with a starting price of just below 12,000 euro, the Sixty will be one of the most affordable motorcycles in the 2016 Indian line-up. With 78 horsepower and 89Nm of torque from its 999cc liquid-cooled, 4-valves-per-cylinder DOHC V-twin, and with its 246kg dry weight, the Scout Sixty won't exactly set your pants on fire with its performance, but of course the focus here is on on style and build quality and refinement, which the Sixty doesn't seem to be lacking. With its slick 5-speed transmission, 16-inch wheels, belt drive, adjustable rear suspension, ABS and a host of available acessories, the Scout Sixty should be damn good as a relaxed, stylish and comfortable long-distance cruiser.

"The Indian Scout has been a stunningly successful introduction for us, with balance, performance and manoeuvrability that appeals to a broad swath of riders in America and around the globe. The new Scout Sixty expands that reach even further to include newer riders and a younger demographic who want to experience the legendary quality and craftsmanship of an Indian motorcycle," says Steve Menneto, President of Motorcycles for Polaris Industries.

Available colours for the new Indian Scout Sixty include black, red and white, while the official accessories catalog includes laced wheels, solo saddle, extended and reduced reach foot controls, extended and reduced reach handlebars, mini-ape handlebar and a peformance exhuast by Remus. The bike should be Indian showrooms across the world by the end of this year.
