O WTF! It's spring!!!

SNOWFALL WARNING: York - Durham Issued at 4:14 PM EDT SUNDAY 5 APRIL 2009

HEAVY SNOWFALL ON THE WAY.
A DEEP LOW WILL PASS SOUTH OF THE LOWER LAKES MONDAY. SNOW ASSOCIATED WITH THE LOW WILL DEVELOP NEAR LAKE HURON THIS EVENING AND OVER THE REMAINING REGIONS OVERNIGHT. THE SNOW WILL BEGIN AS A BRIEF PERIOD OF RAIN IN MANY PLACES. GENERAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 15 CENTIMETRES ARE FORECAST WITH UP TO 25 CENTIMETRES IN SOME LOCALES BY MONDAY EVENING. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF MONDAY NIGHT WITH THE MAJOR EXCEPTION BEING AREAS TO THE SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF LAKE HURON AND GEORGIAN BAY WHERE SNOWSQUALLS ARE EXPECTED. BLOWING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED IN MANY REGIONS - MAINLY MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY NIGHT.

I've been riding almost every day in March, and now this! I'll be even more mad if they finally end up being right for once

Woke up this morning to find out about the winter storm warning for tomorrow too.

For our Hawaiian friends...there are different types of snow...this round is is going to be the "heart attack snow"...very wet and heavy to shovel.

Not so fast. In Cali, we do have snow.. whether in The Bay or LA, we have Lake Tahoe up here, and Mammoth down south

Portland has colder water since it's closer to Alaska + rains more up there + 55 mph speed limit on highway. but enjoy that if that's your kinda town

In Cali you can ride to the beach and surf then go up to the mountains to snowboard or ski all in the same day.

It's f...ing cold and windy here today. Supposed to hit a high of 66 but with these winds the wind chill will probably make it more like 60.

40 here, and it's been spitting snow all day. Very windy. I'm off work with my kids for Spring Break, and I had hoped I would get in some short rides. So far that's not working out.

This morning it was a bone chilin' 33 degrees. For the 10 miles I have to go to work it was worth it to put my cold weather gear on.

I just got in from snowblowing. There is a foot of fresh snow in my backyard. It sucks because it was spring. I have put several hundred kilometers on my bike already and now its like we are back in to the depths of winter.

I have all waterproof stuff except gloves, and I have ways around that.
I'm more worried about cagers.

Those blinking light things would be good in rainy weather, the ones on the Formula One race cars. As for waterproofing your gloves, wrap a plastic bag around them
