gas - what grade to use?

Hello All. I was wondering when you fill up with gas which grade do you use?

87 octane...the cheap stuff. I figure that it revs to infinity and beyond without knocking so why waste the money...

I always run regular grade gas. Using Super/Supreme does not make the bike run any better. Here is a relative thread. http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15904

Regular. User guide says regular, so that means the bike was designed to run on regular.

On a side note, I do prefer to use name brand (Chevron) VS discount brand even though I have been told it all comes from the same place.

Yes it does. I have delivered fuel by semi to gas stations in my area. It all comes from the same terminal. Even BP and Shell.

Under the passenger seat it says 91 octane for my cali model.
Besides the difference is like 20c a fill up, grab some change from your pocket. :P
