Which service manual??
Hi Folks,
New here. Just wondering which service manual has easy DIY instructions for a non mechanically inclined person? And what is a good place to get them? TIA |

The shop manuals put out by Kawasaki are written with a mechanically inclined person in mind. The best thing to do for a DIY is to do a search. Most of the DIY's are specific to the newgen but some things are similar on both bikes such as the carbs.

Service manual
I paid for the manual on line from Cyclepedia. Good pictures and easy to follow directions. I found a mistake on a wrench size for valve adjustment and they corrected their manual within a few hours. They've created their own manual separate from Kawasaki and the quality is good.
